In 2012, my wife Maria and I opened the doors to Class A Barbershop in Levelland, Texas. What started as a shared vision between a barber and a stylist has grown into a true family legacy. While Maria has since returned to her calling as a Registered Nurse, I am incredibly proud to have my two sons, AJ and Aadrian, working alongside me today. Both have dedicated their lives to mastering the craft and serving our community.
The name "Class A" holds a special place in my heart. The idea came to me during my move from my hometown of Albuquerque, inspired by my children, whose names all begin with the letter “A.” It felt like fate when I later discovered that "Class A" is also the professional designation for licensed barbers in Texas.
For over 15 years, our philosophy has been simple: "Raising the Bar-ber." By consistently winning "Lubbock’s Best of the West" since we opened our doors, we have demonstrated that we are the best at what we do. We aren’t just here to give you a haircut; we are here to elevate the entire experience. We believe in professional consistency, which is why we maintain reliable hours and a welcoming environment. You can even see our commitment to style every Friday, when our team dresses in our best attire to showcase the "class" our name represents.
When you walk through our doors, you aren't just a client—you are a guest. My sons and I are passionate about our work, and I personally guarantee that you will receive a top-notch haircut and a wonderful experience. Every August, we are proud to host our annual Back-to-School Extravaganza, a cherished tradition we began in 2012. This community-focused event provides an exciting and supportive environment for students from kindergarten through 12th grade as they prepare for the new academic year.
Our commitment to serving the community runs deep: we offer entirely free haircuts, along with a wide variety of backpacks and essential school supplies. To make the day even more special, we collaborate with several local businesses to create a true celebration that our community eagerly anticipates.
Over the years, we have joyfully given away thousands of backpacks, substantial amounts of school supplies, and countless free haircuts, reflecting our belief in supporting the youth in our community.
